This is a personal site, and these terms are written in plain language, not legalese. They explain how you can use what I share here. This is not legal advice. If a specific situation matters to you, check with a lawyer.
The short version
The recordings on this site stream free for listening. They are shared for portfolio and ministry purposes, and they are not offered for download, reuse, or redistribution. Nothing here is for sale. There is no warranty.
Listening to the recordings
The recordings on the Music page and home page stream on this site so you can hear the work. You are welcome to listen as much as you like and to share links to these pages. You may not:
- Download, rip, capture, or re-host the audio files, or redistribute them on another platform, store, or sample pack.
- Sample, remix, or synchronize the recordings in your own work.
- Sell the recordings, or claim the performances or mixes as your own.
If a downloadable resource (a patch, preset, or template) is ever offered here in the future, it will carry its own license note where you download it. Want to use a recording for something specific? Ask; the answer is often yes for ministry uses within what the underlying song rights allow.
No warranty
This site and everything streamed or shared from it are provided as-is, with no guarantees of availability or fitness for any purpose. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using this site.
Music, recordings, and embedded content
The performances, arrangements, mixes, and masters featured here are Nathan Lin's work (with collaborators and engineers credited on each recording). Several recordings are covers: the underlying songs belong to their writers and publishers (for example, "Known by You" © Gateway Worship and "What a God" © SEU Worship), and those recordings are shared strictly for portfolio and ministry purposes, with no copyright infringement intended and no ownership of the compositions claimed. The site also embeds players from YouTube and Spotify; I host none of that audio or video myself, and the content behind those embeds carries its own licensing from the rightful owners.
Copyright and takedown requests
I respect copyright and expect the same in return. If you own the rights to something featured or embedded here and you believe it is used without permission, email [email protected] with the page URL, a description of the work, and confirmation that you are the rights holder or are authorized to act for them. I will review and, where appropriate, remove it promptly. The same goes the other way: if you believe your work has been copied elsewhere from this site, let me know.
